Simple assault - 5:25 p.m. - July 3 - Police said an unnamed victim reported Marlon Samule Imes pointed a shotgun at her and her granddaughter. According to a report, Imes was charged with simple assault and recklessly endangering another person.
Theft July 6 - Police said John Christopher Foster reported that his residence at 31 Riverview Dr., Oliver Township, was broken into and several items were stolen. According to a report, following an investigation, Kelby John French, of McVeytown, and a 16-year-old male were charged with burglary and theft.
Harassment - 10:09 a.m. - July 22 - Police said they responded to a fight at 2555 state Route 103 S. in McVeytown. According to a report, it was determined that a verbal argument between Timothy Michael Peachey, 22, of McVeytown, and Doyle Allen Heaton, 56, of Howard, turned physical when both men hit each other several times. Police said both will be charged with harassment through Magisterial District Judge Jack E. Miller's office.
Theft - 4-6 p.m. - July 22 - Police said Ralph William Hanawalt had a laundry basket full of towels stolen from him while at Frymoyer's Car Wash and Laundromat, Fayette Township. Anyone with information should call 320-1010.
Dog law violation - 7:56 a.m. - July 25 - Police said they were contacted by employees of the McVeytown Minit Mart at 5704 U.S. Highway 522 for a dog in the parking lot trying to bite customers. According to a report, the owner of the dog, Raymond L. Buchanan Jr., 48, of McVeytown, was found and cited for a confinement of dog violation.
