After reading (The) Sentinel this morning, I'd like to know what the Lewistown Borough Council is trying to cover up from the taxpayers of the borough.
Those people out west yelling at the children crossing the border, I wonder if they forgot Jesus' words "Let the little children come unto me"?
I agree with Mr. Fishbein, Ray Wilde does an excellent job for Mifflin County Babe Ruth. The people complaining should step up and volunteer their time and resources and ask theirself one question: Am I really a Christian to go to church and act this way?
I wish to express my sincerest thanks to the gentleman who found my purse in the Giant grocery

I agree with the comment in the paper about the rent rebate. It's a shame people that own their homes, we're paying taxes, we're paying the repairs, we're fixing our homes up. People that rent get 600-something and the people that fix their home and do everything are only getting 3-something. Well, I can't understand when they sit, they pay no taxes, they do no repairs, they do nothing. The landlord is doing all the work. ... Now, there's something wrong with this picture. ... Maybe we ought to all let our homes go down and do nothing to them. I think this picture needs checked into a little bit.
This civil war has got to stop in Armagh Township before someone gets seriously hurt or even gets killed. Are you willing to live with yourself if something terrible happens?
This is referring to the person that wrote in about renter's rebate. Not all people receive this. Only people on Social Security and Social Security disability are entitled to renter's rebate, not all people.
