I'm calling with information that the Mifflin County School District custodian and cafeteria employees took a wage cut for cost savings for the Mifflin County School District. They need to go to the administrative people, the top people, for the wage cuts now, and that's where your property taxes are higher.
I retired 11 years ago from the state. I have not received one penny in increase in that retirement in 11 years. I know the retirement system needs to be changed, but think of this, our representatives Corman, Benninghoff and Harris all have received 11 raises in that 11 years. Yes, things need to change, not just the retirement system, but their whole pay structure down there needs to be changed. Plus they need to shrink them and they need to have term limits.
