The Appalachian Mountains late model speed week series is history. Several Mifflin County racers competed in events. Tim Wilson raced at Hagerstown, Bedford and Port Royal Speedways. Wilson finished ninth, 15th and 17th, respectively. Lewistown's Nick Dickson finished 25th, 12th and did not qualify at Port Royal. Mitch Hack finished 14th at Port Royal with Lewistown driver Jason Schmidt at 15th. Waylon Wagner and Mike Mort failed to qualify at Port Royal. Speedweek winners were Tim McCreadie at Roaring Knob and Port Royal, while Austin Hubbard and Greg Saterlee claimed wins at Bedford and Hagerstown.
