LEWISTOWN - One driver was taken to the hospital after a three-vehicle accident Friday afternoon along U.S. 22 Business near the Lowe's in Lewistown.
Granville Township Police Officer Chad Brehman said a small four-door vehicle driven by Ashleigh Williams, of Lewistown, rear-ended a Chevrolet Colorado pick-up truck driven by Cody Miller. Brehman said this force caused Miller's truck to rear-end a small four-door Dodge. Brehman said the driver of the Dodge was not yet being identified, but was taken to the hospital complaining of neck pain. He also said distracted driving on the part of Williams was a factor in the crash.
U.S. 22 Business was restricted to one lane, causing Granville Township Fire Police to re-route traffic. Residents traveling east were re-routed through the parking lot of local businesses, while those traveling west moved slowly through the left lane of traffic.
