LEWISTOWN Ronald C. Bell, 71, of Lewistown, died at 4:08 p.m. Saturday, April 5, 2014, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
Born Oct. 29, 1942, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Raymond C. and Esther Elizabeth (Royer) Bell.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith A. Bell, in 1989, and two brothers, Donald and Richard Bell.
Ronald is survived by: his children, Rhonda Bell and fiance, Robert Hackenberger, of Mexico, Pa., Brett Bell and fiancee, Ann Colyer, of McVeytown, Blake Bell, of Lewistown, and Roxanne Sunday and husband, Steve, of Lewistown; grandchildren, Kala Smith, Brittany Bell, Drew Hackenberger, Bradley Bell, Trevor Heimbach, Bridgett Bell, Star Sunday and Ethan Sunday; a great-grandchild, Jacee Price; his brother, Robert L. Bell, of Lewistown; and his sister, Bernice Barnham, of Lewistown.
He was employed at Beaver Kinney Shoe Factory for more than 20 years.
Ronald loved to hunt and was a member of the National Rifle Association. He loved riding motorcycles, driving his Camaro, watching sports and racing at Port Royal. He mostly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.
His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at Heller-Hoenstine Woodlawn Funeral Home, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with Pastor Randy Traxler officiating. Interment will be in Mattawana Cemetery.
His family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, at the funeral home.
