‘3 Days to Kill’ just can’t keep the good ideas coming for long

Film review

About a month ago, I saw a sad, serious movie called "Philomena." There was a big part of me that didn't want to see it because I was in the mood for something lighter and easier. But I had heard good things about Judi Dench's performance in the film, so I dragged myself to see it. For about the first half hour I was unhappy with the film because it wasn't what I wanted, but eventually I found myself very interested in the Dench character and her journey. I proclaimed that the nice thing about a movie like that having a 90-minute runtime is that it has plenty of time to win me over.
