LEWISTOWN - James A. Middaugh Jr., 54, of Lewistown, died at 11:40 a.m. Monday, Jan. 6, 2014, in the emergency room of Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
Born Nov. 28, 1959, in Lewistown, he was the son of Nancy (Corbin) Middaugh and the late James Middaugh.
James is survived by: his companion of 21 years, Joyce Hollenbaugh; and his siblings, Raymond Middaugh and wife, Brenda, of Centre Hall, Jesse Middaugh and wife, Alicia, of Lewistown, Frank Middaugh, of Burnham, Jay Middaugh, of Lewistown, Jannete Wilson and husband, Percy, of Oklahoma, Robert Kephart, Candy Kephart, and Annie Kephart, all of Lewistown.

James was a graduate of Lewistown High School Class of 1978 and had been employed at Empire Kosher, in Mifflintown.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching sports and spending time with his friends and family.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, at the Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown, with Pastor Randy Traxler officiating.
His family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
