Mifflin County High School students, from left, Jacob Spickler, Alex Smith and Amelia Schaeffer, help load boxes of books from the Santa’s Bookbag program Tuesday at Grace United Methodist Church in Lewistown to be taken to First United Methodist Church for the Community Christmas Project. This year nearly 600 children will receive one new and several used books for Christmas. Monetary donations are needed to purchase books for next year’s program. Donations may be sent to The Sentinel, 352 Sixth St., Lewistown, PA 17044.
