MIDDLETOWN - Eleanor Mae Crawford, 77, of Middletown, entered her eternal rest on Nov. 29, 2013.
She was the loving wife of Gary L. Crawford. Born in Middle Creek, Snyder County, she was the daughter of the late Spencer and Eunice Pecht Ewing.
She was a graduate of McClure High School and was a homemaker. Eleanor was a former member of Wesley United Methodist Church. She enjoyed yard sales, rides in the country and to New Jersey, and her pets, Sneaky, Tippy and Maggie.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by: five sons, Danny (Judy), of Middletown, Randy (Susan), of Hummelstown, Ricky, of Elizabethtown, Andy, of Londonderry Township, and Mickey (Brenda), of Royalton; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Larry (Anita) Ewing, of Lancaster; and a sister, Bonnie (Terry) Hack, of Harrisburg.
Eleanor was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Ewing.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to a graveside service honoring Eleanor's life at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013, at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. There will be a viewing from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Coble-Reber Funeral Home Limited, 208 N. Union St., Middletown.
