Two Mifflin County volleyball players were honored by the Mid-Penn Conference as honorable mention selections on the Commonwealth Division all-star team.
For their play, Kaitlin Dreese and Chloe Benner we honored by the league's coaches.
Dreese was a senior leader for the Huskies and the team's best passer.
"Kaitlin was a very stable and consistent go-to part of our team," Mifflin County coach Jill Zeger said. "Overall, she had an excellent year. It was nice to see her recognized by the other Mid-Penn coaches."
Junior libero Chloe Benner played in the back and was the player others depended on, Zeger said.
"Chloe was our go-to in the back row," Zeger said. "She was able to move in the back and get to the ball. She did a nice job of reading the hitters."
As a junior, Benner will be one of many Huskies who will be back on a much-improved team.
"She was very coachable," Zeger said. "From my point, she's an excellent player. It's definitely nice to have her back for her senior year."
