LEWISTOWN - Priscilla L. Snook, 73, of Ulsh Gap Road, passed away on Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, at Lewistown Hospital.
She was born on July 30, 1940, in Dunkirk, N.Y., a daughter of the late Mildred (Morrison) Platt and Gerald Lawrence. She was married to Burton Snook, who survives.
Priscilla enjoyed animals, especially dogs and horses. Earlier in life, she was active in barrel racing and rodeos and she loved to go camping with her family and friends.
In addition to her husband, surviving are: one daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Ernie Newhouse, of Clymer, N.Y.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, David and Cathy Platt, of Delevan, N.Y.; and two sisters- and one-brother-in-law, Carol and Matthew Kohler, of Gerry, N.Y., and Bonnie Ceerey, of Fredonia, N.Y., and her companion Wayne.
Friends and family will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, at Pheasant Funeral Home, 316 W. Market St., Beavertown, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Samuel's Church in McClure. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. at the church, with Pastor Clark Kelsey officiating.
Burial will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.
