Thomas J. Detweiler

ALLENSVILLE - Thomas J. Detweiler, 27, of 99 Crissman Lane, Allensville, died at 3:05 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14, 2013, at 46 Front Mountain Road, Allensville.

He was born on Aug. 20, 1986, in Allensville, the son of Jesse A. Detweiler and Fannie K. (Yoder) Detweiler, of 12395 Detweiler Lane, Mill Creek, who survive.

Also surviving are: his wife, Salina E. (Peachey) Detweiler; children, Julia M. Detweiler and Thomas J. Detweiler Jr., at home; siblings, Amos K. Detweiler and his wife, Anna, of Rockville, Ind., Reuben J. Detweiler and his wife, Ruth, of Ewing, Ky., Jesse A. Detweiler Jr. and his wife, Lydia, of Allensville, Katie M. and her husband, David Peachey, of Mill Creek, Fannie K. and her husband, Aaron M. Swavey, of Mill Creek, Annie M. and her husband, Crist C. Swavey, of Mill Creek, Sylvia E. and her husband, David C. Swavey, of Dolgeville, N.Y., Samuel L. Detweiler and his wife, Ada, of Allensville, Esther M. and her husband, Jacob Peachey, of Belleville, Aaron E. Detweiler and his wife, Susie, of Mill Creek and Mollie L. and her husband, Norman Peachey, of Belleville.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Mahlon L. Detweiler, in 1989.

He was Old Order Amish. He was employed at Detweiler Lumber.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013, at the residence of Jessie Detweiler Jr., 46 Front Mountain Road, Allensville, with Ministers Shem E. Swavey and Omar A. Peachey officiating.

The viewing will take place Tuesday evening at the residence of Jesse Detweiler Jr.

Interment will take place at Allensville Amish Mennonite Cemetery.
