LEWISTOWN - One child suffered minor injuries on Monday afternoon during a two-vehicle accident involving a school bus.
Sgt. Luke Butler, of the Lewistown Police Department, was the officer investigating the accident and said the accident occurred when a resident tried to pull out of a street parking spot when it hit the school bus.
One child suffered minor injuries when a window broke causing glass to cut her ear, however, no hospital visit was required, police said. The students were taken off of the school bus. School officials did arrive on the scene, and another bus was coming to pick up the children.
