GRANVILLE - George F. Haubrick, 71, of Lewistown, died at 7:16 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5, 2013, at Malta Home, Granville.
Born May 31, 1942, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Albert W. and Gladys E. (Kline) Haubrick.
George is survived by: his wife, Etta (Snook) Haubrick, whom he married on Oct. 27, 1962; his children, Marlene Haubrick, of Lewistown, Brian Haubrick and wife, Cari, of Lewistown, Stacy Haubrick and fiance, John Smith, of Milroy; grandchildren, Sheree Stoner and Brooke, Haden and Avery Haubrick; and siblings, Wilbur Haubrick and wife, Loretta, of Shirleysburg, Susan Mackneer and husband, Paul, of Lewistown, Sandra Spigelmyer, of Belleville, Bertha Poche and husband, Clifford, of Lewistown, John H. Haubrick and wife, Faye, of Lewistown, and Albert A. Haubrick, of Lewistown.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Marvin Haubrick.
He was employed as a bartender at Tony's Cottage Inn for 27 years.
George enjoyed spending time with his family and going to camp with his brothers.
His funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 9, 2013, at the Heller-Hoenstine Woodlawn Funeral Home, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with Pastor James Connelly officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Mattawana.
His family will receive friends from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
