Chester W. Kerstetter

McCLURE - Chester W. Kerstetter, 70, of McClure, died Monday, July 22, 2013.

He was born April 16, 1943, in Milroy, to the late Randall J. Kerstetter and Grace (McElhoe) Kerstetter. His wife, Judy A. (Knepp) Kerstetter, whom he married on Dec. 18, 1970, survives.

He is also survived by: children, Gary W. Kerstetter and wife, Amy, of McClure, and Danny Knepp and companion, Jennifer Freed, of Lewistown; grandchildren, Destiny Kerstetter, Drew Kerstetter, Daniel Knepp and Jenna Knepp; and siblings, Robert Kerstetter, of Reading, Anna May Kelley, of Lewistown, Nancy Kerstetter, of Lewistown, and Ronald Kerstetter, of Mapleton Depot.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John R. Kerstetter, and infant sister, Joann Kerstetter.

Earlier in life, he worked at Heeter's Lumber, Beavertown, retired from Bingaman and Son Lumber, Kreamer, and was most recently employed with Pheasant Valley Recycling, Lewistown.

He was a member of the New Lancaster Valley Evangelical Methodist Church.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 26, 2013, at Bohn Funeral Home, Reedsville, with Pastors Jim Richard and Nathaniel Kincaid officiating. Interment be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Milroy.

A viewing will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 25, 2013, at the funeral home.
