MILROY - Carol A. Russler, 74, of Milroy, died at 10 a.m. Monday, July 15, 2013, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
She was born April 16, 1939, in Milroy, to the late James M. and Vivian H. (Fultz) Goss. Her husband, Richard M. Russler, whom she married on June 1, 1957, survives.
She also is survived by: her children, Holly Sue Snyder and husband, Harold, of Lancaster, and James Joseph Russler, of Milroy; six granchildren, Eli Russler, Richard Russler II, Jennifer Murphy, Mandy Barlett, Rober Snyder II and Andrea Wagner; and 10 great-grandchildren, Vivian Russler, Ivori Youtzy, Alissa Wagner, Toalia Cook, Taylor "Lizzie" Ruble, Mark Barlett, Harley Shade, Robert Snyder III, Evelyn Snyder and Caden Snyder.
She was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Matthew Murphy.
She was a 1956 graduate of Armagh-Brown High School.
She had worked at Royal Dairy, Town and Country, Tony's Cottage Inn and Holiday Inn for 30 years.
Her family was the most important thing in her life. She always tried to live a life that would make someone proud to know her. She was a Lutheran by faith.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 2013, at Salem Cemetery, Siglerville.
In lieu of flowers, friends may send memorial donations to Children's Miracle Network-Geisinger, American Lung Association or American Cancer Society.
