Waiting for the bus

Children from New York City traveled via bus to begin thier summer with host families in the area. Children can spend one to two weeks with thier host families in McVeytown, Belleville, Allensville, Shirleysburg and Mount Union. The Fresh Air Fund is an independent, nonprofit agency that has provided free summer experiences to more than 1.7 million New York City youth from low-income communities since 1877.
