LEWISTOWN - Lewistown Police arrested a man who allegedly pointed a rifle at a female during a domestic dispute on Monday.
According to the report, at 1:45 a.m., police responded to the 911 call by a female who reported a domestic assault by a man who was armed with a firearm at a Shaw Avenue residence. Police said the woman said the female reported to officers that the male, Eric Wilson, pointed the gun at her during an argument and threatened to shoot her.
Wilson was arrested after police executed a search warrant on his residence and located the rifle as described by the woman, hidden in the wall, police said.
Police said Wilson was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, terroristic threats, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person. Police said he was transported to the Mifflin County Correctional Facility and held in lieu of $40,000 after he was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Tammy Hunter.
