To the editor:
The McClure Volunteer Fire Co. would like to thank everyone who supported us in 2012, and express hope that the same support continues right through 2013.
Our 2013 officers are: Chris McClellan, president; Gordon Fultz Sr., vice president; Julie Martin, secretary; Shanna McClellan, treasurer; Keith Martin, fire chief; Josh Renniger, first assistant fire chief; and Duane Pheasant, second assistant fire chief.
The McClure Volunteer Fire Co. Fireman's Relief 2013 officers are: John Knepp, president; Chris McClellan, secretary; and Marlene Hassinger, treasurer.
The fire company meetings are held the second Monday of every month beginning at 7:30 p.m. and are open to the public.
The fire company is working diligently on the next fundraiser, the gun and cash raffle that will be held on April 20, at the McClure bean soup grove on West Ohio Street, in McClure.
Tickets are available from any fire company member and at local businesses in the area. For tickets and or information on the raffle, please contact the chair persons Marlin Kline at 348-4007 or Marlene Hassinger at (570) 658-3363. Tickets will also be available the day of the raffle, but you must have a ticket to enter the grounds.
