HARRISBURG - The Huskies notched their second win of the season on the tennis court when they edged Commonwealth Division opponent Central Dauphin, 3-2, on Wednesday.
Connor Saltzer and Matt DeBenedetto both won their singles matches in two straight sets to set the tone for the Huskies. Saltzer took his win over Aiden Henken 6-4, 6-1. DeBenedetto then followed suit, going 6-3, 6-4 over Sreeram Ravi.
Nate Koller and Cody Donaldson then took over in the doubles when they topped Ryan Plesco and Aaron Gold to seal the win for the Huskies. In the first set, Koller and Donaldson won 6-4, then the second set went into a tie breaker, which Koller and Donaldson won, 7-3.
Mifflin County (2-1, 2-1) hosts Central Dauphin East today at 3:30 p.m.
