Police: Crash causes major injury

THOMPSONTOWN - An automobile crash occurred at 7:56 p.m. Feb. 20, in Delaware Township,

according to a report from Pennsylvania State Po-

lice Lewistown.

Police said the driver of a 2002 Honda Civic, Ping Lin, 35, of Thompsontown, was traveling north on state Route 333 and failed to negotiate a right curve.

As a result, the vehicle traveled off the east side of the roadway before striking a utility pole.

According to the report, Lin was flown to Hershey Medical Center for treatment of a major injury.

Police said Delaware Township Fire Department, and Thompsontown EMS assisted at the scene.

The vehicle was towed from the scene, according to police.

Police said Lin was cited for the crash.
