MIDDLEBURG - A 14-year-old male was charged Wednesday in connection with a bomb threat on Friday at Midd-West High School, police report.
Middleburg Police filed a juvenile complaint, in the Snyder County Juvenile Probation Office, against the 14-year-old on charges of terroristic threats, criminal use of a communication facility, unlawful use of a computer, reckless endangering and disorderly conduct.
Police said the threat resulted in the evacuation of all students and staff from the school.
According to the report, an extensive investigation by the police, school administration and the IT department resulted in the charges against the 14-year-old male, who is being detained awaiting further action of the court.
