MIFFLINTOWN - Alicia Anstine Seigler, the current Register of Wills, Recorder of Deeds, and Clerk of Orphans' Court of Juniata County, has announced her candidacy for re-election.
Seigler, of Port Royal, graduated from Juniata High School in 2000 and Shippensburg University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree in social work. She has worked for Juniata County for the past eight years and is currently serving her fourth year as Register and Recorder.
"I have truly enjoyed serving the citizens of Juniata County during my first term. During my time in office I have worked hard to implement a new software program to better serve the people of Juniata County. I am committed to preserving and protecting the records in the Register and Recorder's office with the intention of continuing to improve the availability of records," Seigler said.

"I have a great staff that does a wonderful job of helping to run a friendly and efficient office. If re-elected, I look forward to continuing to serve the people of Juniata County," she added.
In addition to her experience as Register and Recorder, Seigler serves as president of the Juniata County Republican Women's Council, secretary of the Juniata County Republican Committee, a member of the PA Recorder of Deeds Association, a member of the PA Register and Wills and Clerk of Orphans' Court Association, a member of the Advisory Board for Juniata County Children and Youth Social Services Agency, and a member of the Mifflin Chapter Order of the Eastern Star No. 260.
Seigler is a lifelong resident of Juniata County and currently resides in Milford Township with her husband, Justin Seigler.
