To the editor:
I am going to ask a question that has the potential of making me a "person of interest" who must be watched: Is the Department of Homeland Security preparing for a civil war or active resistance to the administration's executive orders? This thought has been in the foreground but noticeably avoided by the press, Democratic and Republican politicians and talk radio.
The press is in Obama's pocket; they will avoid this subject like the plague. Ten percent of Democratic politicians will jockey for power; many of the remaining 90 percent are fearful that dissent with the administration will put them in disfavor with their party or fellow party members. Republicans, with their "Go Along To Get Along" demeanor, have relegated themselves to the "circular firing squad" that couldn't pour water out of a boot if the directions were printed on the heel. Talk radio fears being labeled seditious. The Tea Party, which is comprised of concerned Democrats, Independents and Republicans, appears to be the only organization fearless enough to explore the emerging "red flags."
The following are some red flags, about which would someone please prove me wrong:
Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) answerable to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, purchased 2,500 new GLS armored fighting vehicles for population control during time of martial law. Over the past two years Obama signed a number of executive orders turning over management of America under martial law to FEMA. Are these vehicles for flood control, hurricane relief, tornadoes, earthquakes or forest fire evacuation?
Department of Homeland Security's decision to purchase 450 million rounds of .40 caliber ammunition following an order, last March, for 750 million rounds of assorted ammunition. Much of this ammo is "hollow point" and is said only to be used for training.
The U.S. Army is now being prepared for domestic disorder. A manual of civil disturbance operations outlines: Quell riots, confiscate firearms and even kill Americans on U.S. soil during mass civil unrest.
Department of Homeland Security graduated the first class of 231 Homeland Youth Group representing the first wave of youth corps specifically designed to create a full time, paid FEMA youth group across the country. Historians say it sounds like the Hitler Youth Group and not an army of volunteers for forest fires and hurricanes.
Do these red flags give you a hint of an administration objective for dismembering the Second Amendment?
Does the administration's creed of "Don't let a good crisis go to waste" seem to tie in with the Connecticut massacre?
Knowing that the tragic Connecticut incident would not have been prevented by the administrations supposed gun control, is this the start of an Obama Socialist Progressive plan to disarm and remake the country?
If you have a concern, write your Congressman. Tell him his voting record is now being scrutinized. Tell him you don't want a return letter listing all of the wonderful proposals he has made. His fitness for office will be judged by his voting record. An email petition goes straight to the waste basket. A letter carries the weight of 50 email petitions.
Incidentally, the Hague Convention in 1899 banned hollow point ammunition for international warfare. The bullet flattens itself and mutilates the organs when it enters the body. Hmmmm, training?
