MIFFLINTOWN - The Juniata County Board of Commissioners conducted a brief public meeting Tuesday at the Bousum Building in Mifflintown.
The board approved tax exonerations for Mifflin Borough, Tuscarora Township and Lack Township. They also approved checks Nos. 36,831 to 36,883 in the amount of $192,961.86.
Also during the meeting, the commissioners reviewed the January 2013 field assessment totals, as submitted by Jeff Haines, chief assessor.
The Juniata County Commissioners meet at 10 a.m. each Tuesday.
