BELLEFONTE - Walter D. Wilson, 68, of 8 Shafranich Drive, Milroy, died at 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at Centre Crest Nursing Home, Bellefonte.

Born Oct. 20, 1944, in Burnham, he was a son of the late Thomas W. and Mary (McKnight) Wilson.

He is survived by: his sister, Joann Mitchell and husband, Frank, of Lewistown; his brother-in-law, Ronald Bickhart, of Lewistown; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and he was stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska.

Walter was employed at Willie's Body Shop, in Yeagertown, at Calkin's Automotive for 35 years and at Unimark Plastics for 10 years.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at Woodlawn Cemetery, in Milroy, with Pastor Randy Traxler officiating.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of the Heller-Hoenstine Woodlawn Funeral Home, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown.
