MIFFLIN-Myrtle E. Bollinger, 82, formerly of Doyles Mills, went to be with her Lord on Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at Locust Grove Retirement Village, Mifflin.
Born July 29, 1930, in Port Royal, she was a daughter of the late Brade E. and Laura E. (Hostler) Page. Her husband, Samuel H. Bollinger, died on March 18, 1999.
She is survived by: one son, Donald H. Bollinger and wife, Thelma, of Port Royal; one sister, Elaine Stuck and husband, Lewis, of Mifflintown; two granddaughters, Sue Piper and husband, Tom, and Becky Hess and husband, Danny: one grandson, Donnie Bollinger; and two great- grandchildren, Zac and Ashley Piper.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, three sisters, and one half-sister.
She was a minister at the Full Gospel Church of Blaine and a homemaker.
She enjoyed hunting, particularly for squirrels, fishing, evangelizing and spreading the word of God. Her family, especially her grandchildren and great- grandchildren, was very important to her.
Her funeral will be held at the convenience of the family with the Rev. Crystal Lyde officiating. Interment will be held in New Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal.
