MILROY - Virginia J. Tate, 82, of Milroy, died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at Golden LivingCenter- William Penn.
Born Nov. 6, 1930, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Kathryn (Russler) Osborne. Her husband, John Tate, whom she married in 1967, survives.
Virginia is also survived by: her daughter, Deborah Stalhman, of Reedsville; sons, Wayne Beckenbaugh and wife, Mary, of Burnham, and Lewis Beckenbaugh, of Milroy; sister, Shirley Ritter, of Milroy; brothers; Gary Osborne and wife, Rita, of Burnham, Marline and wife, Betty, of Lewistown, and Donald Osborne and wife, Flo, of Virginia; granddaughter, Heather Beckenbaugh, of Virginia; grandsons Wesley, David and Chris Stalhman and Tyler, Nathan, Matthew and Justin Beckenbaugh; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Osborne.
Virginia belonged to the Legion Post 287 Women's Auxiliary Milroy and the Milroy Hose Co. 7.
She was an avid collector of bears and Coca-Cola. She loved flea marketing and Bingo. She also loved animals.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at Barr Funeral Home Inc., 120 Logan St., with Pastor L. Edd Moore officiating. Interment will be held in Juniata Memorial Park.
Family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday, at the funeral home.
