Development from a fertilized egg into a baby is a continuous process and any attempt to pinpoint when person-hood begins is arbitrary. A human embryo is a human being in the embryonic stage, just as an infant is a human being in the infant stage. Although an embryo does not currently have the characteristics of a person, it will become a person and should be given the respect and dignity of a person.
A report "Real-World Successes of Adult Stem Cell Treatment" by: Mr. Bradley Richard Hughes Jr., indicates that the following physical problems have been treated successfully with adult stem cells:
Spinal cord injuries, heart tissue regeneration, corneal reconstruction, autoimmune disease treatment, diabetes, Lupus, Crohn's, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's Disease, anemias, cancers and immune deficiencies, heart tissue regeneration and other diseases.
To my knowledge baby stem cell research has not produced any successes. Adult stem cell despite millions and millions of dollars from the government and private donations as indicated above have produced hundreds. And with adult stem cells you do not kill babies.

Are those people promoting abortion and baby stem cell research accessories to murder?
It is why we pray for those people. It is every person's responsibility to get their friends and neighbors into heaven.
Pope John Paul II's "Evangelium Vitae" says "God did not make death, and he does not delight in the death of the living. For he has created all things that they might exist ... God created man for in-corruption, and made him in the image of his own eternity, but through the devil's envy death entered the world, and those who belong to his party experience it," (Wis 1:13-14; 2:23-24).
The pro-life movement consists of men and women of every religious persuasion, and some of no religious persuasion. We therefore eagerly work together with everyone interested in ending abortion.
