McVEYTOWN - One person was injured after being hit by a train this afternoon in Bratton Township, a representative from Norfolk Southern Corporation said. McVeytown Fire Chief Barry Sunderland Sr. confirmed the 19-year-old man was taken to Penn State Hershey Medical Center via medical helicopter. Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown was unable to confirm details of the incident and said Norfolk Southern will be conducting the investigation.
