LEWISTOWN - During a brief workshop meeting on Thursday, the Mifflin County Commissioners announced the following agenda items for their Dec. 20 business meeting:
CDBG 2012 sub-recipient agreements to fund three previously approved projects for 2013: two construction projects in Armagh Township; and equipment purchases for the Mifflin-Juniata Dental Clinic.
An agreement with Avanco International Inc. of McLean, Va. for mandated upgrades to the Children & Youth child accounting profiles software.
2013 meeting/workshop schedule.
Re-appointment of Jim Shilling, of Lewistown, to another one-year term on the SEDA-Council of Governments Board of Directors.
Re-appointment of Wilda Fisher, of McVeytown, to another five-year term on the Mifflin County Housing Authority.
Appointment of Steve Zeigler, of Reedsville, to a five-year term on the Mifflin County Airport Authority.
Re-appointment of James Spendiff, of Lewistown, and Dan Dunmire, of McVeytown, to four-year terms on the Mifflin County Planning Commission.
Application for Liquid Fuels funds for the county for phase 3B of the Monument Square Streetscape Project in the amount of $7,828.
