School bus hits deer

McVEYTOWN - An alert from Mifflin County Skylert Messaging System said Bus 152 was in an accident and hit a deer Monday morning en route to Strodes Mills Elementary School.

A representative from J&D's Inc. said a deer ran in front of the bus at approximately 7:45 a.m. on Wakefield Road in Oliver Township.

According to the Skylert message, there were no injuries in the accident and students were transported to school by another bus.
