To the editor:
Politicians need to learn to get the job done. Now the fiscal cliff looms, and both sides deadlocked. How many budgets, both state and federal, are passed late. Maybe it is time our politicians learn to get the job done or the voters replace them, regardless of party affiliation.
A construction worker fixing a broken water line, they don't go home because they have been working 24 hours straight or it is a holiday. If doctor is in a surgery taking longer than planned, they don't just pack in and go home.
But we all know, even if this is not resovlved before the holidays, they will all go home and celebrate the holidays. I really wonder what people consider when they go to the polls and continue to vote the same ineffective politicians to office time and time again.
