To the editor:
I strongly support the restoration of constitutional integrity and the rule of law. The election results show me that there are two Americas. The struggle for the identity of the American character is official. Because of my commitment to our Constitution and love for our country, I take this loss very personally.
We have lost a battle. We lost to a president whose objective remains "fundamentally transforming the United States of America." But, the conservative movement, the Tea Party movement, the faith movement, the right-to-life movement and others have only begun to fight. America must be brought back home to its founding heredity or we may not survive.
On Election Night, when I saw that President Obama was going to win a second term, my first reaction was disbelief. How on earth could people buy into unsustainable debt, more taxes, increased government regulations, layoffs, healthcare mandates, more welfare, more food stamps, ignorance, socialistic philosophies and more leftists on the Supreme Court?
Then I clearly saw that the majority of people supported socialistic redistribution. These are the takers, not the makers. These dependents have little or no interest in civic or personal responsibility, free enterprise, debt issues or our Constitution. The collective ignorance overwhelmed me and my feelings of disbelief and disappointment drifted to anger.
Obama's campaign consisted mostly of attack ads and personal insults. He never campaigned on his record of the last four years. But, considering how bad it was, who would? It appears to me that many special interest groups pulled together in a coalition based upon federal handouts and big government giveaways. My anger has not yet subsided, but I did go into what I consider further preparation mode for a depression-like next four years.
I am still motivated by my allegiance to the moral premises of America's liberty. I do, however, cause my wife some concern of my predictions of democratic socialism, more angry class warfare, significant unsustainable debt consequences, inflation and its severe consequences, a continued dismal domestic performance, more government dependency on the backs of us working people, Agenda 21 issues, more federal government involvement in our lives, a foreign policy that baffles me and weakens our military and our country, outright falsehoods from our White House, financial penalties of Obamacare implementation, discussions of secession and the list goes on.
We are led by a President who admits he actually believes in redistribution. We appear to be submitting to China, Russia and Islamofascists. I will always wonder how much voter fraud there actually was in Philadelphia or Ohio; but I do believe that Obama was re-elected by defrauding voters.
Urban centers overwhelmingly voted for Obama, but many of us in rural areas did not and agree with traditional American character and values. We may be labeled by the liberal mainstream media as extreme, but we are a genuine grass roots movement. Obama and liberals cannot blame Bush any longer. Unless we reverse the cultural, social and political trends in this great country, we are in deep trouble.
We need to return to responsibility over dependency. The so-called fiscal cliff is coming. It is a manmade disaster ready to explode. Perhaps it should be permitted to explode in order to send us back to reality and show the majority who voted for our president those realities.
