LEWISTOWN - Mifflin County Regional Police Department has had several reports within the last two months of Steele's Storage units being entered and items being stolen.
Police are warning people who have storage units, at any facility, to ensure that the lock is of good quality and to check the unit frequently to ensure that the lock has not been tampered with or removed.
MCRPD has also received reports of car shopping and vehicle break-ins recently. Residents are asked to ensure their vehicles are locked when unattended, even if the vehicle is parked at a residence.
