Kelley Bortell and Justin Foster, both of Richmond, Va., were married on Oct. 13, 2012, at Glen Allen Baptist Church in Glen Allen, Va.
The bride is the daughter of Beth Bortell, formerly of Ellwood City, and Jeffrey Bortell, formerly of Lewistown, now of Richmond, Va. The groom is the son of Hugh N. Foster III, of Glen Allen, Va., and Sandra Sherrill, of Richmond, Va.
Samantha Bortell, of Richmond, Va., sister of the bride, was the maid of honor.
The best man was Robert Pool, of Richmond, Va.
Bridesmaids were Erica Gore and Amanda Scaplehorn, of Richmond, Va.
Groomsmen were Richard Hubbard and Chris Walker, of Richmond.
Dr. Tim Norman performed the ceremony.
A reception followed at Jefferson Lakeside Country Club in Glen Allen, Va.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of Douglas S. Freeman High School of Richmond, Va., and a 2012 graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University. She is working on a master's degree in elementary education at VCU.
The groom is a 2008 graduate of Hermitage High School of Richmond, Va., and a 2011 graduate of J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College of Richmond, Va. He attends Virginia Commonwealth University, majoring in business finance. He is employed at Foster Refrigeration as a service technician.
The couple plans to honeymoon during winter break. They live in Glen Allen, Va.
