LEWISTOWN - A 37-year-old Lewistown man was recently arrested and charged with raping a child repeatedly over a number of years.
Gregory S. Trutt Jr., has been charged with multiple counts of rape, aggravated indecent assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and other related offenses, police said.
Trutt allegedly abused a now 12-year-old girl for a period of more than six years. Trutt blindfolded the child at times and slapped her in the face when she screamed out in pain, court documents indicate.

Trutt remains incarcerated in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility in lieu of $300,000 bail. A preliminary hearing has yet to be scheduled.
