HUNTINGDON - Kent A. Robb, 41, of 13415 Sleepy Hollow Lane, Huntingdon, died Saturday Nov. 17, 2012, at his home.
Born on Dec. 8, 1970, in Lewistown, he was a son of Mary Francis (Tussey) Robb and the late Lewis L. Robb, who died in 1980.
Kent is survived by his wife, Becky S. (Furgison) Robb, whom he married on July 17, 1999.
He is also survived by: children, Jeremiah L. Robb, Jacob A. Robb, Katie E. Robb and Leah A. Robb, all at home; and brother, Dwight D. Robb, of Burnham.
Kent was a 1989 graduate of Indian Valley High School and a 2010 graduate of Penn State University.
He was a KADD instructor for 17 years at the Mifflin-Juniata Career and Technology Center. He was lastly employed for the Mifflin County School District as a technical trades instructor. He enjoyed doing odd jobs for people, farming and hunting.
He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, in McAlevy's Fort. He served as an advisor for SKILLS USA as well as an advisor for woodworking at the Stone Valley 4H. He was a member of the AMCE Teacher's Union, where he served as vice president for a period of time. He was a member of the Mifflin-Juniata Vo-Tech Union where he served as president for a period of time.
He also served as a school board member for the Stone Valley Community Charter School. He was a member of Randy's Lodge, in Stone Valley.
A memorial service will be held in his memory at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at the United Presbyterian Church, in McAlevy's Fort, with Pastor Dan Morris officiating.
