Caitlan Lupolt, of Mifflintown, and Edward Messimer, of McAlisterville, are engaged to be married on May 18, 2013, at Armstrong Valley Winery, Halifax.
She is the daughter of Phil and Jean Lupolt, of Mifflintown. She is a 2006 graduate of Juniata High School, and a 2010 graduate of Penn State University, with a degree in elementary education. She is employed at SUM Child Development as a home visitor in Lewistown.
He is the son of Barry and Andrea Messimer, of McAlisterville. He is a 2003 graduate of East Juniata High School, and a 2006 graduate of Triangle Tech, with a degree in electrical maintenance and construction technology. He is employed at PPL as a lineman in Newport.
