Getting married? Going to the prom? Be sure to "save the date" of Feb. 17 (weather date, Feb. 24) to attend The Sentinel's Bridal and Prom Expo for the latest wedding and prom ideas, as well as seeing up-to-the-minute merchandise and gifts, and learning about local services to meet every need on the big day.
The Sentinel is again partnering with the Lewistown Country Club to host the event, which will take place from 2 until 4:30 p.m.
New this year will be the addition of items suitable for prom. Also new will be the apperance of live models from Simply Elegant Bridal Shop in State College, who will wear wedding gowns, as well as bridesmaid, mother of the bride and prom gowns, and make a presentation about the latest fashions.
In addition, a variety of other vendors will be available to showcase goods and services they have to offer the bride and groom, or prom dates.
There also will be an array of door prize drawings for those attending the event.
