MIFFLINTOWN - Juniata County Commissioner Jeffrey Zimmerman asked the board of commissioners to consider replacement of two county computers during a public board meeting held Tuesday in Mifflintown.
Jim Bahorik, chief clerk, said two computer systems in the district attorney's office were broken and had been repaired, but were not functioning properly.
The board unanimously approved the replacement of the administrative assistant and county detective computers at a total cost of $2,686.12.
Also during the meeting, the commissioners:
Ratified CDBG-IDIS checks Nos. 1,146 and 1,147 in the total amount of $5,750 to M and E Construction for the housing rehabilitation project, as submitted by Dave Bardell, planning director.
Approved a request for liquid fuel funds for Milford Township in the amount of $1,345.88.
Approved tax exonerations for Monroe Township.
Reviewed the October 2012 Summary of Collections Report - Fines and Costs, as submitted by Magisterial District Judge Barbara M. Lyter.
Ratified the Commercial Energy Sales Agreement between the Juniata County Library and Champion Energy Services LLC for consortium electricity purchasing beginning Jan. 5.

Approved checks Nos. 36,237 to 36,287 in the amount of $52,072.31.
