Bertugli-Spece

Angela Bertugli, of Rices Landing, and Gabriel Spece, of Thompsontown, were married on Aug. 10, 2012, at St. Hugh Roman Catholic Church in Carmichaels.

The bride is the daughter of Emilia Bertugli and the late Remo Bertugli, of Rices Landing. The groom is the son of William Spece, of Thompsontown, and Judith Spece-Wright, of Mifflintown.

Deborah West, of Wysox, sister of the bride, was matron of honor.

The best man was Nicholas Spece ,of Thompsontown, brother of the groom.

Bridesmaids were: Brittany Bloam, of St. Marys; Ashley Sheaffer, of Brockway; and Madeline Snyder, of Jefferson, cousin of the bride.

The flower girl was Katherine West, of Wysox, niece of the bride and groom.

Groomsmen were: Jay Varner, of Batesville, Va.; Lucas Sheaffer, of Richfield, cousin of the groom; and John Esh, of Mifflintown.

Father John Bauer performed the ceremony that also included vocalist Erika Musselman, of McAlisterville.

A reception followed at the Hilton Garden Inn Southpointe, Canonsburg.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Jefferson Morgan Junior-Senior High School; a 2005 graduate of Washington and Jefferson College; a 2007 graduate of University of Pittsburgh's Graduate School of Public and International Affairs; and a 2011 graduate of Widener University School of Law. She is employed as a research associate at the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.

The groom is a 1999 graduate of Juniata High School and a 2003 graduate of Susquehanna University. He is employed as an executive director at the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.

Following a wedding trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla., they reside in Lemoyne.
