Driver of pickup sought in robbery

LEWISTOWN - The Pennsylvania State Police in Lewistown are asking for assistance from the public in locating a maroon, Ford extended cab pickup truck, described as being very clean.

The vehicle was observed picking up the suspect of a bank robbery that occurred in the early morning hours on Nov. 5 at the Swineford National Bank in Beaver Springs, police said.

The white male suspect, described as in his 20's was wearing a black coat with lettering on the right chest or sleeve coat. The suspect was observed at around 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 5, getting into the truck along Arch Rock Road in the area of the U.S. 322 ramp.

Anyone with information relative to the crime is asked to contact the Pennsylvania State Police at 320-1010.
