Fame Emergency Medical Services personnel, from left, Zach Myers, Dairen Himes, Kay Love and Terry Beasom, return home from New Jersey after helping with the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. Shawn Peters also was part of the team. As part of the Seven Mountains Regional Strike Team, the crew left Oct. 30 to help emergency officials in New Jersey with search and rescue missions, patient care and 911 responses. The crew helped treat and provide support to people at shelters. Some fire and ambulance stations and fleets were also wiped out. The local group even took up a collection of their own money and clothes for donation to a family.
