McCLURE - Myrtle B. Laub, 78, of 4917 U.S. Highway 522 N., McClure, went to be with the Lord at 4:22 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at the Lewistown Hospital.
Born Dec. 27, 1933, in Strodes Mills, she was the daughter of the late Robert C. and Blanch (Arnold) Smith.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, H. Robert Laub Sr., on April 21, 1993; her brothers, Jerry, Charles and William Smith; and her sisters, Emma King, JoAnn Forgy and Betty Jane Hile.
Myrtle is survived by: her children, Harry R. Laub Jr., of McClure, Wayne C. Laub and companion, Veronica, of Lewistown, and Tammy Fultz and husband, Doug, of Yeagertown; grandchildren, Stephanie and Sherrie, of Lewistown, and Amanda and Benjamin, of Yeagertown; and great- grandchildren; Jacob, Jaxon, Marianna and Adison.
She is also survived by: her sister, Margaret Kohler, of Lewistown; her brother, Robert Smith and wife, Eleanor, of McVeytown; brothers-in-law, Jerry Hile and Floyd Forgy; and sister-in-law, Esther Smith.
She was employed at the Arrow Shirt Factory, in Lewistown, for more than 25 years and retired from Kinney Shoes.
She was a member of Samuel's Church, in McClure.
Myrtle enjoyed spending time with her family, playing Bingo, reading western books, playing cards and camping.

Her funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, at the Heller-Hoenstine Burnham Funeral Home, 108 First Ave., with the Rev. Bill Hunsicker officiating. Interment will be in Samuel's Cemetery, McClure.
Her family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.
