Sara K. Rieffannacht

Sara was a 2009 Homeschool graduate. She loved camping at Buttonwood Campground, cooking, baking and trying new recipes, listening to music, puzzles, beads and her family and friends. During her teen years, Sara was an active member of the Pine Glen Alliance Youth Group, enjoying friends and activities there. She also was involved in the Mifflin 4-H where she received multiple Grand Champion awards in glass etching and tie-dye. Sara attended Evangel Baptist Church.

Sara is blessed to have had many people who faithfully brought her before God's throne in prayer throughout her full and complete life. Spanning the globe, her prayer partners were faithful in answering the call when urgent prayer was needed. Like the paralyzed man in Mark 2:3-4, her faithful friends carried her to Jesus for a healing touch when she was weak or unable to go herself. We will be eternally grateful for the faith of those few close friends and to God for every day and his miraculous touch. Sara knew and loved the Lord Jesus Christ and in this we rest that Sara now walks with Jesus in perfect healing.

Sara and her family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 6, at Barr Funeral Home, Inc. 120 Logan St.

A celebration of Sara's life and her journey to the one who created her will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, at Barr Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Wise officiating. There will be a time of sharing during the service.

Sara's family will provide flowers and have requested that donations be made to The Sara Rieffannacht Memorial Fund, c/o 375 W Fifth St, Lewistown, PA 17044.
