LEWISTOWN - Betty Jean (Flowers) Fultz, 91, died at 4:10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, at Ohesson Manor.
Born April 20, 1921, in Beavertown, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Beatrice (Fetterolf) Flowers, of Beaver Springs.
On June 24, 1937, she married Curtis Jesse Fultz, who preceded her in death on March 14, 1982.
She is survived by: four sons, Roger C. Fultz and wife, Darlis, of McClure, James L. Fultz and wife, Ruth, of Bellefonte, Noal W. (Sam) Fultz, and wife, Bonnie, of Milroy, and Leslie M. "Bud" Fultz and wife, Barbara, of Lewistown; one daughter, Pamela L. (Fultz) McCardle and husband, Dennis, of Lexington, Ky.; daughter-in-law, Vicki Fultz; sisters, Edna M. Teegarden, of Baton Rouge, La., Freida M. Aumiller, of Beavertown, and Ida Jane "Hun" Cook, of Lewisburg; 13 grandchildren; and several great- grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Betty was preceded in death by: son, Jan G. Fultz; grandson Timothy Fultz; brother, George Flowers; and sisters, Madeline Hackenburg and Shirley Ann Kerstetter.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church, in Milroy.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Inc., 108 First Ave., Burnham with Pastor Michael Sigler officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of the service, at the funeral home.
Interment will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery, Milroy.
