Police: Man robs bank, flees

Officials search for suspect in robbery

PORT ROYAL - Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown are looking for a man who robbed the Juniata Valley Bank on Market Street in Port Royal at 8:35 a.m. Saturday, according to a police report.

Police said the suspect is described as a young, thin, white male who was wearing black gloves and a black hooded sweatshirt with the Pittsburgh Steelers logo on the front and back when he entered the bank demanding money.

Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown said a young, thin, white male robbed the Juniata Valley Bank in Port Royal on Saturday.

According to the report no weapon was displayed.

Police said he fled north on Market Street in a white Ford Escort.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact police at 320-1010.
