Wants everyone to be able to vote in every election

October 24, 2012
Lewistown Sentinel

To the editor:

One goal of our democracy should be - everyone votes. Voter turnout often is low and I think that is a shame. The more people who show up and exercise their right to vote, the more representative our government is of us. We should encourage voting. We should make it easier to vote - not harder to vote. I want everyone to have their say.

Pennsylvania Voter ID law is the work of a party that is afraid to stand on its own ideas, a party that has resorted to attempts to limit voter turnout in order to win the election.

It just may take more than the Voter ID Law to "hand Pennsylvania to Mitt Romney."
